Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 2/10/2026
Point of Order Consulting provides a Privacy Policy to inform its website users how we collect, store, and use personal information submitted on the site.
1. Collection and Use of Information
Certain places on the Point of Order Consulting website may require users to register or to provide personal information in order to subscribe to our email newsletter(s). Such personal information is not sold to third parties. To better understand the needs of our website users, we may also request demographic information. Entering such information is optional and if you choose not to enter such information, you can successfully use these applications.
2. Mailing Lists
The purpose of our email list is to keep you updated on our services, industry trends and special offers. This is an opt-in service where our customers have full control over their subscription. The information you provide us will be kept confidential, and Point of Order Consulting will not sell your email address. You may modify or cancel your subscription at any time. If you provide your email address, Point of Order Consulting may periodically contact you with special offers and updated information.
Emails sent to you by Point of Order Consulting include a link in the footer of the email where you can opt out. If you wish to be removed from the mailing list, you may also do so by contacting Point of Order Consulting directly or by emailing info@pointoforderconsulting.com.
When you receive and engage with emails from us, web beacons track certain behavior such as whether the email was delivered and opened. They also allow us to collect information such as your IP address, browser, email client type, and other similar details. Links within these emails are tracked to show individual recipient’s clicks. We use this information to measure the performance of our email communications, and to improve our content and services.
3. Usage Tracking, Analytics, and Digital Advertising
Point of Order Consulting tracks usage patterns on our websites and breaks down overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user’s browser). However, we do not match this information with users’ personally identifiable information.
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. We use the data collected by Google Analytics to track and monitor the use of our websites, to understand and to improve the content and features of our websites, and to monitor and improve our marketing efforts. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

-
You can prevent your data from being transmitted to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents any website, including ours, from sharing information with Google Analytics about your visit activity.
-
You can learn how Google’s ads are personalized, opt out of ad personalization, and block specific advertisers by visiting the Advertising Section of Google’s Privacy & Terms website.
-
You can also use Google’s Ad Settings to control ads you see on Google services (such as Google Search or YouTube), or on non-Google websites and apps that use Google ad services.
4. Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that a website transfers to a user’s hard drive when a user visits the website. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages visited. The only personal information a cookie can contain is that which a user supplies. A cookie cannot read data off a hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Point of Order Consulting does not use cookies to store any personal information about a user.
